I grew up in Merrimack, NH and my parents used to take me there when I was little. I was visiting my son's kindergarten class this morning and saw a little girl with a Friendly Farm sweatshirt on, and I couldn't believe it! I have so many fond memories of visiting there, I loved feeding/getting tackled by the goats. I hope to bring my kids to visit one day!

Just wanted to let you know that you are our daughter's favorite stop while we are in NH. She's seven now, but we have been making multiple trips a year since she was a baby. Sometimes, she wants to go twice in one weekend! We love the friendly animals. She used to be afraid of some of the animals, but each time we go, she gets a little bolder. She has now hugged a turkey and picked up a baby goat. Her favorite activity is picking up the baby chicks. Keep up the great work! Did you ever consider running a summer camp? I know my daughter would jump at the chance to help take care of the animals.

Hi, My husband and I took our 21 month old son to your farm on july 25th. We had a great time and my son loved the animals, especially the goats and sheep. He loved chasing them so he could try to cuddle with them. It was definitely worth the travel and money. We will be back next year.

Howdy, Friendly Farmers! I was in the process of writing a story about my experience working at the farm MANY years ago and came across your website. Looks great! I'm glad things are still going strong. I will always count that job as my favorite one ever..... Hope you're all well!

My four year old had fun holding the newly hatched baby chicks while my 5 month old slept the whole time we were there. She even slept through one of the mother hens jumping on the baby stroller and trying to see who was under the blanket. We learned that baby goats are only fed formula once a day. and we saw the new baby calf. We found the place to very clean, the staff is very friendly and we hope to be back there soon.

What a great place to just come and relax! I have been coming to the farm since I was very young maybe even too young to remember. Now I have the chance to take my daughter-10 months. A trip I'm sure she won't remember, but it will start the yearly tradition that she will soon come to love, just as I did as a kid! Thanks for keeping such a nice place going!

Visting Friendly Farm as a child is one of my most favorite memories! After over 30 years, I still remember holding the baby chicks in my hands and how soft & warm they were and how they smelled like the sawdust shavings that they nested in. I tell my 2 1/2 yr old son all about Friendly Farm all the time. We are counting the days that we can get up there for his first of many visits! He's a true animal lover like me!

Hi! This website has lots of info about the farm. And I agree that the farm is really clean. I haven't found out when the farm is open yet though, but I'm still looking (I haven't even been on for 5 minutes). In the gift shop, I think you should get more pig stuff to put in there because there's not enough. By the way, I really love pigs! :) I love your farm! Sincerely, Lauren (age 11)

I have been coming to Friendly Farm since I was an animal loving 3 year old. I'm now almost 21 and Friendly Farm is still my favorite place to be. As soon as I enter through that welcoming gate I feel like a carefree kid again, no other place brings me such joy! I can't wait for Friendly Farm to open each spring, to share its wonders with my family and friends! Friendly Farm is an absolute wonderful place for animal lovers of all ages!

We've been coming to the Friendly Farm for a few years now, and we've always had a blast there. When spring comes, that's the first place my boys want to go. Every year, my husband and I wonder where you find so many friendly and happy teenagers to work on your farm! Thanks for providing such a wonderful and educational destination for our family. We can't wait 'til you're open in May. See you then!

Though I'm twenty two now and haven't visited in quite some time,I have many fond memories of both my parents and grandparents taking my sister and I to the Friendly Farm. It's wonderful to see that it's still lovingly maintained by the family that started it, and I hope it's there to someday take my children to.

Your website rekindled many fond memories of our many visits to the Friendly Farm 20 years ago, before we moved out West. I look forward to your reopening in the spring, and to building similar memories for our grandchildren!

I just happened to drop in. I am mom to Bethanie, age 8, Drew, age 10, Evan, age 20 months, and Steven, age 22. I was looking for pictures for my son Drew's Windows xp account to download, when I came across this by way of web search.

My mother used to take my brother and I to this farm and we loved it. Just recently I took my 2 boys and THEY loved it. (I think I had more fun then they did though...) My camera was full of pictures to download by the time I got back home. I will keep going to this farm for as many years as it stays open and hopefully my kids will take thier family too. Thank you for the great memories! -The Greeley Family

I first found the Friendly Farm back when my oldest daughter was about 3 years old. That was about 16 years ago....and we have been going there ever since. It is true that we have not been there for a couple of years, and that my two daughters will soon both be off at college...but the Friendly Farm was the kind of place that my wife and I would love all by ourselves! In fact, I just recommended it to a guy at work today.

My husband and I visited Friendly Farm when we ourselves were young children. We carried on the tradition and took my sister several times when she was little. In the last few years we have visited many times with our own daughter and still love it. What a great place to visit. I hope Friendly Farm is still up and running when my daughter has children so my husband and I can take the grandchildren!!

My first visit to the friendly farm was 30+ years ago. I still remember what a great time I had. My family has visited a dozen or so times since. My two teenagers still love to visit this magical place and our 2 year old just loves the farm. Bruce is a wonderful host and does a great job making the visit fun for the kids and the adults as well! Best Wishes, Jim & Jen

Several years ago my sister and her 4 year old daughter were visiting from Maryland. I had come across Friendly Farm previously during a motorcycle ride through the country side so when they arrived, Friendly Farm is where we went and my little niece had a blast! My two grandsons (12 and almost 4) who live in Georgia will be visiting us next week and Friendly Farm is our first stop. I can't wait to show my grandsons the awesome place you have. To be honest I think I have a better time than they do but I just wanted to drop you a line that we'll be there soon. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful place to bring the children where they can learn and have first hand experiences with animals. See you soon!

I went to Friendly Farm when I was little, then I took my boys many times and I can only hope the Friendly Farm is still around when they have children of their own. It is a fun and inexpensive day, and that's hard to find today with prices so high. Keep up the good work at the Friendly Farm and we'll spread the word - the Friendly Farm is the place to go for family fun full day and save money!
